Rockets' Guard Russell Westbrook officially rejoined the team in Orlando today after self-isolating in response to a positive COVID-19 result.

Westbrook made the trip to the NBA bubble on Monday, according to head coach Mike D'Antoni. He was forced to quarantine himself for two days, per NBA protocol, before joining the Rockets for practice.

"Thankful and blessed to be healthy and go out there and compete," Westbrook said during a press conference earlier today. "Before I was in quarantine, I was in pretty good shape, so I should be alright."

"I've been at home, trying to be productive. I obviously wasn't able to get on the basketball floor, but I was trying to stay active and do as much conditioning as I could."

Regarding his availability for Friday's scrimmage, D'Antoni was noncommittal in Westbrook's chances of playing. "We'll wait the next two practices to see where he is. Whatever he wants is cool. He knows his body."

Westbrook himself took a more humorous approach to his potential participation. "I don't have a feel for whether I can make a layup at this point. [laughs] I've gotta start there, and I'll work my way from there."

Westbrook was confident in his eventual return to his midseason form. "When I'm back at 100%, you'll know."
